Undergoing projects in Estonian IT College

1. Practical cyber security for IT administrators.

Duration: 15 July 2009 – 31 August 2015
Budget: 2 463 660 kroons / 157 456 eur
Content: The aim of the project is to create a study module for the Estonian IT College IT Systems Administration syllabus in cooperation with the Estonian Informatics Centre and the Computer Emergency Response Team of Estonia. The module will be used both in the higher education and further education. The lectures will be executed with Estonian Informatics Centre´s experts.
Partners: the Estonian Informatics Centre and the Computer Emergency Response Team of Estonia.


2. The renewal of the Estonian IT College’s main syllabuses in cooperation with enterprises, creating and activating a cooperation model based on the labour market needs.

Duration: 1 October 2010 – 31 December 2013
Budget: 3 682 216 kroons/235 336 eur
Content: The main goal is to foster Estonian Information and Communication Technologies higher education´s quality and competitiveness in the Baltic Sea region by the renewal of Estonian IT College main syllabuses (IT Systems Administration, IT Systems Development). The second aim is to create and activate an innovative cooperation model for universities and enterprises.

3.Software development laboratory for mobile devices.

Duration: 1 May 2010 – 30 April 2011
Budget: 1 365 000 kroons/ 87 238 eur
Content: The aim is to improve possibilities of the students of the Estonian IT College by experiencing and comprehending software development for mobile devices as a process through practical activities.
